Robert Huey Moak
Pastor Moak was born physically on March 6, 1938 to Malcolm and Velma Moak in Bogue Chitto, MS.
- Graduated from Bogue Chitto High School in 1956
- Grew up in the Bethel Baptist Church, joined the church near the age of 12
- Born spiritually, born from above on May 20, 1963 in Chicago, IL
- Was baptized into the Palmer Park Baptist Church where he was an active member and very involved in the church as Sunday School director, Deacon, tithing, visitation, etc.
- Surrendered to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ on March 15, 1964 and God gave him a pastor's heart
- Married Rebecca Grice on January 9, 1965 and resumed college
- Was called to be the pastor of the Hamilton Street Mission in Brookhaven, MS in February of 1965
- Graduated from William Cary College in the spring of 1965 and entered New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in the fall of 1967
- Graduated from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 1972
- In May of 1973, the Foster Road Baptist Church called him as their pastor. Official starting date was June 17, 1973
- Pastor Moak and his wife have two daughters, Kim and Pam
- Kim is married to Johnny Costanza and they have three children, John, Laura and Rachel. They are members of Woodlawn Baptist Church
- Pam is unmarried and attends Parkview Baptist Church
- The years at FRBC have flown by, but Pastor Moak has seen many saved and many have grown in spiritual maturity
- Pastor Moak and Rebecca have been so blessed of God to serve FRBC these years. God has filled their hearts with love for Him and for their folks
- Pastor Moak and his wife are following our Lord and will do so till He comes for them
- It has been his privilege to serve as moderator of Judson Baptist Association and in many other capacities. He is currently a member of the Administrative Committee
